All around Lake Mead we noticed these short 2 ft tall fences along all the roadways that were put in with lots of care, placing rocks on folded over fencing. We were wondering what they were trying to save from the roads.
Then Suzi came upon this sign.
We were disappointed that we did not see any of the desert tortoises in our travels around the area.
