Elephant Arch at Valley of Fire State Park NV

Elephant Rock is just at the East entrance of the park.

We hiked up to it with Boomer taking plenty of rests along the way on the interesting rock formations.  The Elephant is at the top of a large rock formation.

You can see its trunk and body perfectly from the side.   I was glad we had a sunny day to get a good picture.   I think Boomer has fun hiking on the rocks.   Poor guy, we do make him sit and pose a lot.   He doesn't seem to mind too much!
