With all our adventures to the Lake Mead Recreation area, it only seemed approperiate to stop by Hoover Dam which holds the water back to create the massive reservoir.
There is a stairway to the top of the bridge that gives you a great view of the dam from far above.
The crooked power towers looked like they were going to fall into the abyss.
Since Hoover Dam is on the Nevada, Arizona state line they put a clock on each side of the Dam showing what time zone you are in

As with most man made structures from this era there is a nice memorial for those who lost lives in the creation of the massive dam.
