Atlatl Petroglyphs Valley of fire

Early our first morning in the park, Suzi climbed the stairs at Atlatl.

There are stairs to go up and observe.  You can also see the old stairs and ledge that were created earlier out of the stone, just to the right of the stairs, just imagine how much fun that would have been to climb to get the the view of petroglyphs.

 At the top of the stairs, the petroglyphs were amazing.  Suzi's favorite is the picture of the mountain goats.  This entire site is named after the weapon, the atlatl, that's depicted on the rocks.
