We gave our rig a bath yesterday and yes, got a little drenched in the process. The water spray felt so good though with the sun beating down on us.

We took the time to just sit and watch the osprey flying. Two osprey were vying for dominance, and one was making sure the other didn't settle on one branch very long before swooping and reminding that bird, who was the ruler of ALL the trees.

There is something so peaceful about just sitting in a chair, watching the waves gently lap in the breeze, and seeing the different birds swim or fly overhead. Different bird calls echo from the various trees around us, each with a unique song. And those little swimming coots can make a really impressively loud ruckus for such a teeny tiny bird.

Last night as we took our doggies out for their last little romp on the grass, there were absolutely NO stars in the sky! I looked up and saw a large luminescent ring and in the center was the only light in the entire sky. It was a brilliant white halo, perfectly wrapping up the almost- full moon.

Woke up with the sun again this morning. Kim had her camera and I had my own. It was fun to compare, though for some reason Kim's camera took better pictures than mine! Pout, pout :)

The dogs were completely content lying by our sides and watching the birds and constantly brightening horizon. It is so very peaceful here at sunrise.

Your descriptions are so wonderful. I could actually feel my body relax as I read of hanging out at the beach.
