"Oh my GOD!" This is a common scream here at the RV park, and usually starts a commotion of camera grabbing, madly finding shoes, and running for the door.

Today, this exclamation was due to three Eagles swooping at the water's edge next to our trailer. I looked out to in time to see both a large and small Eagle both landing on the top branches of a tree.

They didn't stay in the tree long. And resumed flying magnificently overhead. In the sunlight, as they swooped in the light winds, their white heads and tails just glistened below the clouds. And the Eagles seem to instinctively do a dance as they glide and cross each other's paths, then fly upward once again. Because their wings are so powerful, they do not have to beat very often, and the gliding is smooth and serene.

It was good to see our Eagles again. As they took perch on several branches, they seemed perfectly content surveying their land below.

I never really considered myself a bird watcher, and I still do not know many of their names. But sitting on the grass, just watching them soar and swim is just captivating!
