Cats love routine, and one Bugs does every morning is go to her window, stretch out and ruffle her fur in the warm sun rays. Then, (and this is an expectation from her staff!) she likes it when her window is cracked open. Invariably there are several coots right outside, swimming in the water SPECIFICALLY for kitty entertainment. They splash their beaks into the water for their breakfast of delectable algae.
Bugs watches rapt in fascination as they rustle their wings and occasionally caw to one another. Then, as the sun grows higher, eyes grow droopy and the sun spot on the couch slowly recedes. Time to curl up in a little ball on the couch and dream exciting kitty dreams of the chase, capture and her delicious coot brunch as she stretches out her claws.
