Bailey is a star. She has taken up frisbee. We took her to Edmonds off leash doggie area yesterday.

We were at Marymoore off leash doggie park a coulple of weeks ago, and a dog was practicing catching a frisbee while we were there. Bailey looked intrigued, so when we got home we got out a frisbee... yup, she is a quick study!

Don't worry, Ginger, Samantha, and Gator had fun too.

Of course there is a certain technique to bringing back the frisbee...

Ok, this one was weird, the landing, yes, that is only one dog... it just does not look quite right.

I had to star at it for awhile.. That is an awfully happy tail though.

We were driving thru Kenmore the other day, and noticed the Great Blue Heron's are already perched on their nests.

Shandi joined Color Guard up in Bellingham. We have been going to some of her competitions lately. Here are some shots. For those of you that don't know she is the front one in the first photo. Her hair is really getting long!

Tried the camper on the new truck. Not quite level, 2" low in the back. On the drive it did sway more than the other truck, the air bags off of the old truck will fit this one, so we are going to use them. Should help with both issues.
When we weighed it we were right at our GVWR. (all tanks were full)

We put the camper back on our old truck one last time, just incase we had height issues with the carport and the new truck.

Natasha is doing a fine job of modeling on the mirror.

As some of you know, we have been on a quest for a new/used truck. Well, we found one! A 2006 GMC 2500HD, the color is Silver Birch outside and dark gray inside. :)

We wanted a back seat, the 4 doors are nice.

Now we need to accessorize it for the camper and pups. :)

Our old truck Emily tugboat will be needing a new home, as soon as I pilfer all that I can off of her.

Our new truck needs a name... We decided on Puppy Mobile. :)

Joe and Carisha got a new family member last month.

Her name is Petie.

Been awhile since I blogged...
We opted for a Christmas branch instead of a tree. The cats seemed to like it.

Gator was the only one who seemed to enjoy the opening of the presents.

The holidays brought out the strange side of people, just ask the dogs.

Ginger took it in stride.

Brrr it has been cold here! This morning it is 14F here, 18F in Seattle. Frosty mornings since the start of December. Not usual around here...
But the dogs still like a good romp at Marrymoor Park.

Bailey just LOVES fetch! Gator escorts her back with the ball often. (I noticed that the end of Bailey's leather collar is chewed off... hmmm)

The puppies got to see the off leash doggie area in Edmonds, WA recently. Bailey was excited about the water.

Gator just waited for her dog to come in so she could escort her back to us...

We had not been to the park in a long time, and it looks alot different without the pipeline there. Looks alot better.

By the way, Ginger and Samantha had a good time also, but they just chose to sniff bushes and mark their territory... Not great weather for wading in the water... brrr cold. Actually when we noticed Bailey shivering we made her stop under protest and got her in the warm car... She slept better than any of the others...

Natasha and Loius want some billing... They have been cute lately also!

We measured the dogs at the front shoulder from the floor to the top of each of their backs...

Ginger: 20 inches

Samantha: 21 inches

Gator: 22 inches

Bailey: 23 inches


I don't have a scale, so we will have to wait till next year when they get their next shots for the weights...

We are still taking all 4 dogs places in the Prius.

Someone told me that it was like watching the clown car where one after another clown exits the car and you wonder how they all fit...

well...

Gator rides primarily in the trunk...


Samantha spends most of her car time on the floor, she always has... giving Ginger and Bailey the whole back seat.


Here is a better view of Samantha on the floor... you can see how tiny she really is... She is all fur...


Of course there are those times that Little Bailey gets squished between Samantha and Ginger...

Saw this Bald Eagle sitting in a tree in the back yard today...
