S.O.S.
Day 2 of incarceration:
Our captors have two dogs and a cat and I think they are fascinating!

Maybe if we keep asking, they'll let us out. That would be cool.

Our captors stuck a strange green thing called broccoli stalks in our cage. Jack decided to be the Guinea Pig, and ate it down. He was not adversely affected, so I tried it and it was pretty good... Oh, yeah, and the carrots are pretty good too... HELP!!

YIPPEEIt's Snowing!!! Getting the trash can is going to be especially fun today!!!
S.O.S.
Day 1 of incarceration:
My name is Smudge and I have managed to get to my captor's computer.

I just hope that I can reach my people. My cell-mate Jack doesn't know how to type yet, but we plot together each day and night towards freedom.

The two people here are weird! First, we went for a bumpy ride in this dark place and arrived and were carried up the steps to be placed on a table. HELP!!
There were alot of birds around enjoying the sun...

Good thing Ginger was doing a good job of guarding me...

Trotted down to the river in Monroe.

Ginger and Sammy really enjoyed it.

Looks like Sammy has some competition playing in her creek...

We had about 6 ducks show up yesterday. They were still there when it got dark out but were gone when the dogs went for their morning jaunt down the driveway... I noticed 4 of them came back about 10am today...

Did a bit of work on the camper.
The side of the camper where it sits next to the wheel well had some rotten wood, and was bulging out. (I forgot to take a before shot...)
Since there is no support other than the rotten wood from the access door to the rear of the camper, I put a piece of 3/8 inch plywood on the inside glued and screwed to the part that is not rotten. Here is a shot of it. I already painted it, but need to touch up where the screws are...

Once the inside piece was mounted I took off all the rotten wood.

I replaced the wood with 3/8 inch plywood.

Then I glued and screwed a piece of 1/4 inch plywood down the whole length. I still need to cut the hole for the access door in the 1/4 ply, but I am going to wait.

Samantha got a chance to see her puppy Smokey the other day. Hard to believe Sammy will be 10, and Smokey will be 9 this summer!
Happy Valentines day... a bit late... the girls had a blast ripping their hearts apart!
