 There is a trail behind Von's Grocery in Palm Springs.

Suzi and Boomer have been visiting often. There is a nice view of the Palm Springs Valley below.

 We decided this year we will spend a month in Palm Springs CA near Suzi's parents.  When we arrived at our campsite we were greeted by a couple of Road Runners.

Rice Desert, CA

 We made an attemt to go look at the old military post that Patton and others trained troops in WWII at Iron Camp Mountain, but we were stopped by signs telling us no trespassing and to check in at guard shack ahead.  So we gave up, guess they are using it again.

We did find the Sign Post at Rice desert along the highway.  

Overton, NV

 We were walking around near our chosen spot at Poverty Flats and I looked down and saw this rock that had the imprint of sea shells on it.  

When we looked closer we found on 2 other sides there were some round marks.  Looks to me like it was a 22 shell impression.  

Suzi researched it and it was actually a Crinoid Seal Lily fossil.

I feel like there is a mark on this side also, but maybe not...
