We had never seen sand dunes like this at Pacific Beach.
The sand was blowing good while we were there.
Suzi took the kids for a walk on the beach.

Gator and Bailey got to have their first trip to the ocean! The outside shower came in handy. I think they had a bit of sensory overload when we arrived. They forgot everything they learned, and ran from one neat smelling thing to another. Broken crab parts were their favorite.
Ginger and Sam had fun too!
We went to Pacific Beach State park.

This is Joe and Carisha's newest family member. It is a water dragon named Velcro, because it sticks to everything.
Velcro was sick, not eating, and had so much cruddies in it's eye lids that they were sealed shut when she/he arrived. Carisha has nursed Velcro back to health. at 2 1/2 feet Velcro is about as big as she is supposed to get they are supposed to be 2 1/2 to 3 feet long, the length is mostly tail.

We took the puppies (all 4 of them) for a quick overnight camping trip last weekend.
We stopped at one of our favorite spots on Keechelus Lake. Much to our surprise the lake was higher than we had ever seen! The road ended near the picnick area.
We took the little ones on their first short hike.
The lake behind our camper is normally dry with old growth cedar stumps from logging. (this is the lake that I-90 goes along at the top of Snoqualmie pass)
Gator and Bailey had a great time!
All the puppies settled in and slept well that night.
Ginger has her special spot on the top bunk.
